Kathryn Winch

      Kathryn 'Kathy' Ann Winch passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024, at Sakura House in Woodstock Ontario, at the age of 53, after a brave battle with cancer. 

    Kathy is survived by her husband Jason Winch, and her three daughters, Alexandra Woelk, Samantha Julian (Zachary), and Nicole Woelk.  She was born on December 11th, 1970, in St. Catharines Ontario, where she spent most of her life working and raising her children.  She worked for the District School Board of Niagara as an elementary school secretary, where it was her passion to make children smile with every attendance sticker she gave out.  Outside of work, she enjoyed taking her daughters to countless volleyball games and practices, Sunday night football with the family and swimming endless laps in the pool.  She will be remembered for her bright and lovable personality, and willingness to help others.  Even through tough times, Kathy blessed the people around her with a smile. 

     Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 19, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m., at ­­­­­St. David’s United Church located at 190 Springbank Avenue in Woodstock, Ontario. Words of remembrance will be at 3 p.m.
