Kenneth ‘Ken‘ Prosser

July 5, 1948 – June 24, 2021

Ken passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.  He leaves behind his wife and best friend Lorainne (nee Coeman), and his daughters Stacey Bennett and her husband Mike, and Renee Green and her husband Jason.  He was the proud PaPa of his much loved grandchildren Taylor, Colby, Carson, Kaitlyn, and Loralie.

Predeceased by his father George Prosser, his mother Barbara, and his brother George ‘Butch’ Prosser.  He is survived by his sisters in law Dianne Kersten (Tony predeceased), Marlene Opdecam (Bob), and Joanne Johnstone (Tom), by many nephews, nieces, and by his many dear friends.

Ken was a member of the Delhi Kinsmen Club for a number of years holding several executive positions, including President.  He was a past member of the Langton Lions Club, and participated in the Big Brothers program.  Ken was employed as a meat cutter most of his adult life and owned and operated two of his own businesses.  Upon retirement he took on the role of bus driver, for schools as well as local farms.  Ken was an avid woodworking enthusiast building everything from crafts to furniture.

A big thank you to Community Care nurses Leighanne, Randi, and Pauline Markus NP for their compassionate care.

In keeping with Ken’s wishes cremation and a private service have taken place.
