Kevin Ross

          It is with extreme sorrow and immeasurable Love that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Charles Ross, 61, of Woodstock, Ontario, July 31st, 2026.  Kevin never failed to put a smile on people’s faces and lighten their day. He was a family-man, an intelligent fellow, and the kindest soul we all knew, with a Heart of Gold.

          Kevin Ross is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pamela Ross, and his cherished daughter, Samantha Ross, his sister Wendy Watts, and his brother Bob Ross, and many loved nieces and nephews; Jack, Oliver, Alexandra, Carter, and Michael.

          Kevin is lovingly remembered by his family: predeceased his Father; John Gordon (Jack) Ross 1928-1984, his Mother, Ruth Ross, 1928-2017, his Brother, Steven Ross 1958-2015, and his baby Sister Nancy Weiringa, 1970-2022.

          Kevin Ross has a legacy in which his father John Gordon (Jack) Ross has also left, with his Father’s legacy of Bravery Awarded by the OPP.  Kevin Ross’ Father had a huge impact on his life of living humbly, with courage and bravery and being a hero in many people’s lives who knew him.

          Kevin had many family members and friends whom will miss his wit, his sense of humour, his many talents of being a builder and handy-man.  Kevin was not only a teacher, he was a poet, as he would often mention: “Mother Nature is going to do what she’s going to do.  When she rains, she pours.”  He also lived by the motto: “Never waste a day.”  And “When we understand that Each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to things that truly matter.”

          Kevin Ross being a man amongst men. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and his Heart of Gold.

          Above all else, Kevin taught us how to live life to the fullest, to never give up, to care about what matters and make the best of the moment. Through his actions, his values, and the way he embraced every moment; he shared a gift far greater than words.  These lessons he taught us will remain in our hearts and shape our lives for years to come.

          Kevin will be forever loved and missed by all whose hearts and souls he touched.  Heaven has gained another angel, God Bless His Soul as he Rests in Peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

          His wife, Pamela and his daughter, Samantha would like to thank family and friends for their love and support at this time of tragic loss.

          A celebration of life, titled “Kevin Ross’ Send Off”, will be held on Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at the home of Shawn and Tammy Rudy, close friends of the Ross’, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Their address being: 596133 Highway 59 North, Woodstock Ontario.
