Lillian Hudson

Lillian Hudson (nee DeWaele) was born in 1948, and passed away peacefully on Thursday December 21, 2023 at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe, Ontario.  She was married for 55 years to Robert Hudson who passed away on December 30, 2022.
Lillian is survived by her two daughters Cheryl Hudson and Christine Hudson, her sister Nancy Legue (Gord), brothers Joe DeWaele (Linda), and Larry DeWaele (Penny), brother-in-law Larry Hudson, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents Odiel and Gabriella DeWaele (nee Boterberg), brother Ron DeWaele, son-in-law Danny Gibson, grandson Ryan Hudson, sister-in-law Betty Hudson, father-in-law William and mother-in-law Edna Hudson.

Lillian worked for years at DDM Plastics.  She was always a very strong lady.  She enjoyed shopping trips and talking with family and all of her friends.  Lillian was a very loving person.  She spent her last months at Heritage Lodge Retirement Home in Simcoe. Her family would like to thank all of the management and Staff there for being so kind to her.  Thanks to all of the Doctors and Staff at Norfolk General Hospital.  Special thanks to her lifelong best friend Annie LeSage, and to all of her friends.  She will be greatly missed by all!

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
