Linda Ormston

          It is with extreme sorrow and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of Linda Ormston (nee Bauer) of Woodstock, Ontario on Sunday July 26, 2026, peacefully at Sakura House surrounded by family.

          Linda was the friendliest and most loving person who had one of the biggest hearts for everyone and anyone that she crossed paths with.  She was a loving and compassionate wife and best friend to her late husband James ‘Jim’ of 43 years, and a wonderful mother to Troy, Trevor (Jen), and Tania (Gary).  Linda was a Nana who loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The love Linda had for her family cannot be expressed enough and boy did she like to spoil them every chance she got.  Linda is survived by her three sisters Kathy (Jerry), Sharon (Henry), Tammie (Andre), and her sister - in - law Barb.  Predeceased by her parents Violet and Arnold Bauer, and her two brothers Albert (Ellen), and Wayne.

         Linda had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her gardens weeding and tending to her many beautiful flowers.  She made many friends working at Shoppers Drug formerly known as Big V in Norwich, Ontario.  She was known for her yummy home baked goodies that she would take into work and share with everyone.  Linda had so much love for all her family and her friends and she was always so kind to strangers that she met on her walks with her dog.  Linda was a strong woman that didn't let too much get in her way and fought every step with her many health issues.  She was a beautiful, caring, and loving soul who will be missed by so many.
