Linda Steele

          Linda Joanne Steele passed peacefully with family by her side at Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario on Monday September 22nd, 2025 at the age of 72 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

          Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard Steele of 35 years and her devoted son Colton Steele (Mckayla) of Woodstock. Greatly missed by her brother Larry Ferguson (Leeann) of Mississauga, and her sister Lorrie Ferguson of Massie, her uncle Art Rush (Sandra) of Kitchener, and her aunt Peggy Weller of Tara.  Lovingly missed by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great niece and great-great nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, as well as many great friends, including those made during her 36 years as a dedicated Registered Nurse.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Audrey Ferguson, and her brother-in-law Andy Neelands.

          A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday November 1, 2025, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., at the Ingersoll Services for Seniors, 250 Ingersoll St. S., Ingersoll, Ontario N5C 3M6.  If desired, memorial donations to VON Sakura House, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
