Lloyd Denison

March 22, 1949 — December 12, 2024

Ingersoll, Ontario

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Walter Denison.  He left us surrounded by his family who loved him dearly.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Eleanor (nee Stevenson), his son Russ, his grandchildren Danielle, Benjamin and Ivy.  Beloved brother of Bob, Betty and her husband Roland, Esther and her husband David, Reg and his wife Vannie, and Joyce.  Predeceased by his parents Walter and Mabel, his brother Jim, and brother-in-law Dale.

Lloyd was not only a loving husband and father but also a mentor; speaking and encouraging many in his path. He worked for years operating large machinery in the drainage industry and was among the first to use laser levelling technology.  He had the uncanny ability to repair objects from large machinery and vehicles to toys.  Lloyd lived and mirrored a deep faith in God. He did everything in his power to share that spirit of acceptance and generosity in each area of his life.  In the most challenging times Lloyd continued to display his convictions and be content with a minimalist life.

A celebration of life Service will be held on Friday December 20, 2024, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 56 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Ontario.   A Reception will follow.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Samaritan's Purse  or Sakura House are appreciated.

Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
