Margaret Mae Watts

In Loving Memory of Margaret “Mae” Watts 

          Margaret “Mae” Watts (nee Kennedy) passed away peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by the love of her family.

          Mae was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred Watts, her parents Cecil and Helen Margaret (Ironmonger) Kennedy, her daughter Lynn (nee Watts) Sweazy, her brothers Tom Kennedy and Les Kennedy (Marion), and her sister Joyce Kennedy.  Mae was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was the cherished mother of Sherry (Bill) Alyea, and Steve ‘Wattsy’ Watts (Vicki Laekeman).  Mae was a proud grandmother to Kyle, Justin (Kristen), Joshua, and Nicholas (Courtney), and a loving great-grandmother to Emily, Avery, Lennon, Wren and Bella.  She was the beloved sister of Robert (Lori) Kennedy.  Special beloved friend and companion of Peter Smith.

          Mae will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many memories she leaves behind.  Her kindness, strength, and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.  She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.

          Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.  If desired, memorial donations made to Sweaburg United Church UCW, Sweaburg Lions Club, or to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation are most appreciated.
