Marion Blancher

          Peacefully at Sakura House, Marion Blancher Rennie passed away on Friday October 23, 2026.  Born on October 13, 1940, she had just celebrated her 86th birthday surrounded by loving family and friends.

          Marion was a loving, kind woman who loved Jesus with all of her heart.  She took great pride in her work at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll where over the years she worked both in patient care and in the Central Supply Unit.  Her favorite activities were knitting and crocheting, especially as gifts for others. She also found great joy and peace in spending time in nature.

          Marion was the beloved daughter of Carl and Fern (nee Shelton) Nancekivell.  She was a devoted mother to Diane Rennie, John Rennie, and Chris Rennie (Michele).  Cherished sister of Don Nancekivell (Jean), Ruth Nancekivell (Don), George Nancevikell (Elaine), John Nancekivell (Lorna), and Robert Nancekivell (Ruth).  She was much loved by her grandchildren Jasmine, Ashley, Geordan, Ruthie, and Jared.

          The family extends their sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff and volunteers at Sakura House for the extraordinary care, kindness, and tenderness they provided during her final days.

          Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marion’s memory may be made to VON Sakura House , or a charity of your choice.
