Marvin R. Stere

Marvin Robert Stere went home to be with the Lord and Saviour, with family by his side, on Saturday June 1^st, 2024.  He was in his 63^rd year. 

Devoted husband to Marilee (Hartig), whom he married on November 6, 1985.   Loving son of Jean Stere of Tavistock.  Son of the late Orval Stere (2023).  Loving Father of Deidre and Ashley Mosburger of Bright, and Amber Stere of Plattsville.  Proud Poppy of Cole, Destinee and Jase Mosburger and step-Grandson Darcy Mosburger.

Dearest brother of Donna Stere of Brantford, Ronda Stere and Neil Bricker of Tavistock, and Kelly and Dave Roth of Tavistock.  Cherished brother-in-law of Karl Hartig of Plattsville, Laurie and Gerry Ransom of Princeton, and the late Mark (2022) and Kathy Hartig of Woodstock.  

Treasured uncle to Brittany and Steve Hartfiel, Karlee Roth and Jonny Kirwin, Sherilee and Rob Vorne, Elisha and Jon Cook, Ryan Hartig and Derika Nauta, Kyle Hartig, and Tina Belton.  He had many great nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Marv’s life will be held on Monday June 10, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 2988 Highway 7&8, Stratford, Ontario with food and refreshments provided.  A private family burial will take place at a later date. 

Because family was near and dear to Marv’s heart, in lieu of flowers, it would be most appreciated if memorial donations were made to:
