Michael Crowder

     The music has ended for a loving father, grandfather and friend. Michael ‘Mikey’ Orval Crowder was born on February 28,1953 in Toronto, Ontario and he died of a sudden heart attack on October 26, 2024. 

     Michael is survived by his son Paul, daughter-in-law Andrea, granddaughter Alexandria, and grandson Joaquim.  He also leaves behind loved ones Ellie Noble, and Shelly and Al D'eon.  He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Mona Crowder and his stepmother Margorie. 

     Michael split his working time between being a night club disc jockey and truck driving for Round Lakes Transport. His main hobbies were boating and motorcycling and found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. 

     A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024, from 12 to 4 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 190, 55 Stover Street South, Norwich, Ontario.  There will be a brief Service and eulogy beginning at 1:30 p.m.  All family and friends are welcome; memories, laughs and tears are best when shared.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Norwich Legion Branch 190 would be most appreciated.
