Michael Schoutese

          With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Schoutese, a son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  Michael passed away suddenly, with his trusty four legged companion Eddie by his side.  Michael leaves behind his mother Linda Swance (Howard Atkinson), and his brother Steven Schoutese.  He was predeceased by his father Bill Schoutese.  Left to mourn are his children Ashley Peach, Christopher Nevius, Bill Schoutese, Shayna Schoutese, and Michelle Dow.  He will also be greatly missed by eight grandchildren.

        A free and adventurous spirit who wanted the best for his family, Mike was a down to earth sort of person.  Well known for his passion to ride motorcycles, you could always find him tinkering on his bikes wherever he saw fit.  He will be missed most, by friends and family alike, for his intriguing sense of humor, crooked smile, and contagious laughter. 

      Cremation has taken place.  A visitation to say farewell to Michael will be held on Sunday February 9th, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m., at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, Ontario.
