Michael Wood

       On Saturday November 30, 2024, Michael Alexander Wood passed away peacefully after a twelve-year, hard-fought battle against leukodystrophy at the Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock, Ontario. 

       Mike is survived by his loving wife and best friend Jennifer Wood, his children, Kristen, Riley, and Ramsey, his father Donald A. Wood, his sister Elayne Wood-Larson, his brother Keith Wood, and three grandchildren.  Mike will be dearly missed by his many aunts and uncles, all of his cousins, friends and extended family.  Michael was predeceased by his cherished mother Linda Jean Wood (2005). 

       A very special thank you goes out to the Staff at the Maples Home for Seniors for the exemplary care given to Michael over the past six years.  In keeping with Mike’s wishes there will be no funeral services at this time but a celebration of life is planned for sometime in the future!
