Norma Smith

          It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norma Smith (nee Timpano)  announce her passing on Tuesday August 25th, 2026, in her 96th year, after a long battle with dementia.  Norma was the last surviving child born to Bruno and Maria Timpano (nee Muzzi) who immigrated to Canada from Serra San Bruno Italy in the late 1920's.

          Norma was predeceased by husband Jack Smith Sr. and eldest son Jack Smith Jr.  Lovingly remembered by son David (Candace), daughter Cynthia, and daughter Karen, as well as grandchildren Nicholas (Stacey) and great-grandson Cooper;  Kayla (Seth) and great-grandson Hudson;  Kristopher (Kristen) and great-grandchildren Oliver and Isla;  Jessica (Mike) and great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Stephen;  and her grandchildren Antonio, Alaina, Adriana, and Maddison.

          Special thanks to the staff and residents of Caressant Care Courtland for the love, kindness and support given to Norma as she made her way through the final steps of her journey.
