Patrick Joseph Raphiel Payne, the best husband and friend a gal could have.
Saturday October 17th, 2026. On this day, my world came crashing down and my heart broke in two. I lost my best friend and my husband. But, I am at peace now because I know that he is now at peace. He's likely fishing on some beautiful Heavenly shore, reunited with his Dad Kenneth Payne, his brothers Kenneth Payne a.k.a Kenny and Francie Downey, and his sister Iris Brankiewicz nee Payne (Ted). And leaving behind a whole bunch of people who love him and will miss him; like myself, Caroline Payne (nee Rozand), his mother Elizabeth Payne (nee Downey), his brother Keith (Yvette), and sister Ingrid (Terry), his brother-in-law Ted, his Aunt Marina and two sisters-in-law Louise and Linda (Mike). Also left behind to miss him are a lot of nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and lots and lots of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 31st, 2026 at Maranatha Church, 94 Elgin St. S., Cambridge, Ontario. Guest reception will begin at 1 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m., and light refreshments after the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to VON Sakura House in Woodstock, a beautiful hospice where Patrick spent his last 6 days in the care of the angels who work and volunteer there.
