In Loving Memory of Raymond “Ray” Robert Flood

          Raymond “Ray” Robert Flood of Innerkip, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday October 9, 2026, at the age of 75. 

          Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, on September 24, 1951, Ray had a lifelong passion for cars.  A skilled auto body repairman by trade, he took great pride in his work and found his greatest happiness working on cars, especially when covered in body filler and paint while bringing one of his latest restorations back to life.  His love for automobiles was more than a career; it was a part of who he was. 

          Above all, Ray cherished his family.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Jennine, and his beloved little buddy Zoe.  He leaves behind his daughters, Elizabeth, Candace (Warren), and Bobbi Jo; his grandchildren Linden and David; his brothers Harvey (Doris), Greg (Elaine), and Bill; his sisters Barb (Chris), Joanie, and Dana; his father-in-law Barrie; and his sisters-in-law Sue, Deanna, and Linda.  Ray will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, all of whom hold their own special memories of him.  Ray was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Dorothy; his brothers John and Louis; his sisters Mari and Mitzi; his mother-in-law Lorna; and his brother-in-law Barrie. 

          Ray leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a passion that brought him joy throughout his life.  Though he will be missed more than words can express, the memories he created with those he loved will live on forever. 

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

          Ray will be cremated, and a Celebration of life will take place at a later date; those details will be shared here when available.
