Rhonda Hansford (nee Brodhagen)

          After a long struggle with cancer, Rhonda Lee Hansford, nee Brodhagen, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday August 21, 2026 at VON Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario.

          Beloved wife of Stephen Hansford, and Mom of Amy Rose Hansford.  She was the much-loved daughter of Vic and Nancy Brodhagen.  Loved sister of Andy and his wife Andrea Brodhagen.  Rhonda loved her nieces and nephews.....and she was loved by all of them.  She was dearly loved daughter–in-law of Bill and Cheryl Hansford, and sister–in-law of Elizabeth and Rob Laswick, and Tim and Katie Hansford.  Rhonda will be fondly remembered by her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.  She will be missed by “the Group”, and by her church family.  Predeceased by her grandparents Amy and David Steele, Edward and Heulwin Brodhagen, and Doreen Hansford.

          Rhonda enjoyed knitting and created many beautiful items.  She was an enthusiastic, committed, and very vocal Blue Jays fan!

          A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday August 29. 2026 at Grace Baptist Church, 735 Norfolk St N, Simcoe, Ontario.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the Service at 11 a.m.  A luncheon will follow the Memorial Service.  Private Interment will be held at a later date.

          A Celebration of Rhonda’s Life is still in the planning stage but once decisions are made that information will be included here.  Memorial donations to VON Sakura House, or to the Canadian Cancer Society are most appreciated.
