Richard Ernest Carter

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Richard Carter, 96 years young, on Wednesday February 21, 2024.  He was loved and respected by all who knew him and who appreciated a good meal, good joke, and good rye.

A loving husband and father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Husband of Marilyn, Father of Pat and Don, Kelly and Sharon, and April and David, Grandad of Kris, Sean, Jason, Anthony, and Cacie, Great Grandad of Kaige, Ruby, Jude, Mia, Dexter, Sky-lyne, and uncle to Denise and Steve, Barry and Lou and family.

We will miss the times shared, your humour and laughter, and the life lessons you passed on to us.  Although you are gone your legacy shall live on through the love, strength and compassion you gave to us.

Thank-you to the medical Staff at Woodstock Hospital and LHSC - University Hospital for their amazing care and sensitivity these past few weeks.
