Richard Turgeon

Finally reunited with his soulmate and with his son, Richard Turgeon passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday June 1, 2023, in his 72nd year, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

He leaves behind his daughter Chantal, granddaughters Nicole, and Tiffany (Patrick) McGregor, and great grandson Leilon McGregor.  He is survived by his brothers Robert (Bonnie), Roger (Sally), Victor (Monique), Rheal, and David (Darlene), brother in law Emmanuael Fournier, sister in law Anne Marie (Igan) Maheu, and his many nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife Marguerite (August 2022), their son Raymond, and by his parents Rita and Victor Turgeon.
Richard was loved by all and had many friends. He is well known as a cab driver employed for many years with U Need a Cab in North Bay, and United Cab in Woodstock, Ontario.
The family wishes to thank TDMH Nurses Roxanna, Kelly, and Marion, and Dr. M. Abdallah for their compassion and care.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday June 10, 2023, at 1 p.m., in the Astorville Cemetery, Astorville, Ontario.

Memorial donations to the Oxford County Community Health Centre (specific to Addictions Program) are appreciated by the family and may be made directly, or by cheque through Wareing Cremation Services, 346 Simcoe St., Tillsonburg, Ontario who have been entrusted with Final Arrangements.
