Brent Sinden

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert ‘Brent’ Sinden, a beloved husband, father, Papa, brother, and friend.  With family by his side, he left us peacefully on Thursday November 16, 2023.

Brent is survived by his wife Patricia Sinden, who he married in 1996 in Bookton, his daughters Jodi-lynn (Justin), Lisa, and Erin (Andy), his grandchildren Alyssa, Ella, Julia, Jax, Fyn, Isaac, his brother Harry (Jacquie), and his kitties Gracie and Millie.  Brent was predeceased by his parents William ‘Bill’ and Dorothea Sinden (nee Hill), and brother Billy.

Brent worked tirelessly for his family as long as he could, working multiple jobs at once.  He was one of a kind.  The most gentle, kind, and selfless man.  He showed us what matters in this life, never putting value in or being distracted by what doesn’t, and always doing the right thing even when no one was looking.  Irreplaceable.
Brent’s favourite things to do in life will live on through his family.  He loved to go fishing, camping, four-wheeling, going to the gun range, taking his Harley out for a cruise, animals, vibing out to his metal and rock music, snuggles with his grandchildren, and catching the hockey game on TV with his wife.
Even through two kidney transplants and countless other illnesses, he never shied from showing his family true strength and kept his silly sense of humor with his practical jokes and teasing to make everyone laugh.  He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those fortunate to have had him in their lives. Donations in Brents memory to the Palliative Care Unit at Woodstock Hospital or London Health Science Center Transplant Unit are appreciated by the family.
