Rodger Blake Milmine

          With deep love and gratitude to God for a life well lived, the family of Rodger Milmine announce his peaceful passing on Sunday May 10, 2026 at the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin.

          Rodger was a devoted follower of Jesus, who guided every part of his life.  He was a loving husband to Peggy for 57 years.  Devoted Dad to Melanie (Pete) Wiebe, Melissa (Samson) Adeyemo, Michelle (Tony) Sawler, John Milmine, and Josh (Jude) Milmine.  Grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Survived by his siblings Carol Grass, Carl (Judy) Milmine, and Sharon Sawlor.  Remembered by the extended Cambridge and Milmine families.  Predeceased by his brothers – in – law John Grass and Norm Sawlor.

          Rodger will be remembered for his love of God, his friendly smile, and his genuine care for others.  He never hesitated to strike up a conversation or make someone feel welcome.  A hardworking man always willing to lend a helping hand, Rodger faithfully worked as a Custodian for thirty years at East Elgin High School and McGregor Public School.  His kindness, steady faith, and encouragement left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

          Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of life Service on Saturday May 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the Aylmer Full Gospel Church, 344 Talbot Street East, Aylmer, Ontario.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin, or the Aylmer Full Gospel Church are most appreciated.  Interment in the Aylmer Cemetery.
