Roger Bilbrough

          Roger Bilbrough, aged 80, of Woodstock, Ontario passed away peacefully at Sakura House on Saturday August 16, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.  Born on February 20th, 1945 in Tadcaster, England, Roger moved to Canada in May of 1967 with his wife Marcia.  He started work at Thomas Bus the following month, where he would continue working for the next 34 years.

          Roger is survived by his loving wife Marcia (nee Clayton) to whom he was married for almost 59 years.  Roger will be deeply missed by his daughter Leanne (David) and grandson Braxton, and by his son Mark (Katelyn) and grandson Nathan.  Roger is survived by his sister Pauline Appleyard, his sister-in-law Janet Bilbrough, and his brothers-in-law Alan (Margery) Clayton and Neil (Jane) Clayton, and by many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Doris Bilbrough, his brother Terry Bilbrough, and his brother-in-law Trevor Appleyard.

          At Roger’s request no Memorial Service will be held.  Donations in memory of Roger would be appreciated by the family and can be made to VON Sakura House or the Canadian Cancer Society.  Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at www.wareingcremation.ca
