Scottie Smith

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Scottie Bert Smith, a beloved Dad, Papa, Son, Best friend, and so much more, at the young age of 56.  Scottie was born in Buckingham, Quebec on August 18, 1967.  Scottie passed peacefully at University Hospital in London, Ontario at 4 pm on November 19, 2023.

Grandfather to many, many grandchildren.  Irreplaceable son of Scott and Gloria, and his Mother Joan, and brother of Sheila. Loving Father to his three daughters and four sons - Ashley, Shelly, Marquise, Jayden, John, Jason, and Justyn.  All of his children were his Pride and Joy.
Scottie was an extremely hard worker and took pride in his work ethic, he worked with his good friend John for 20+ years at his Pallet Shop.  Scottie was selfless always putting his own needs to the side for others — even if it wasn’t in his own best interests.
Scottie was unique, he always knew how to make people laugh with his silly faces, noises, and remarks.  Scottie always knew how to make light out of any situation including his end wishes such as asking to be cremated because “he didn’t want bugs crawling inside of him”.  

We all love you Scottie, you will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life is planned and will be announced at a later date.  Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario was entrusted with Final Arrangements.
