In Loving Memory of Sharon Deline (née Almost) 

           My beloved mom, Sharon Deline, passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, following a sudden heart attack.  Although Sharon was my stepmother, she was truly my mom in every way that mattered.  She was my confidante, greatest supporter, and best friend.  Over the years, our bond grew into something deeply special, and I will always treasure the love, laughter, conversations, and countless memories we shared.  Our weekly trips to Your Farm Market for sandwiches and then to Early Bird Coffee for a treat will always be in my memories.  Sharon spent decades working at Poole and Company grocery store until it’s closure and finished her working career at Tim Hortons.

          Sharon leaves behind her daughter Tina Wolak and son-in-law Chris; her nephew David Austin (Marcy); her sister-in-law Laura Robinson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, my dad, Joe, in 2022; her son Kenny in 2017; and her sister Edna “Ted” Austin in 2023.  These losses affected her deeply, but she carried their memories in her heart every day. 

          After Joe’s passing, Sharon began a new chapter at Langdon Retirement Villa, where she found happiness, friendship, and independence.  She embraced her life there and made the most of each day.  She loved watching the Toronto Blue Jays, enjoyed the company of the Staff and friends she made at Langdon.  Her caring nature continued to shine through in the thoughtful ways she helped others, including knitting baby hats for the neonatal unit at Woodstock Hospital and afghans for family babies.

          Sharon shared a special bond with my husband, Chris.  He was much more than a son-in-law to her - he was like a son. She loved him as her own, and he loved her as a mom.  She also had a very special love for her granddaughter Kaley, and great-granddaughter Remi.  She loved sharing their pictures with the staff and her friends at Langdon, always eager to show them off and tell everyone about them. 

          Sharon will be remembered for her strength, resilience, sense of humour, kindness, and generous heart.  Most of all, she will be remembered for the love she gave and the lives she touched.  Rest peacefully, Mom.  Give Dad, Kenny, and Ted a hug for me.
