Shirley J. Martin

On Monday July 22, 2024, Shirley Jeanne Martin passed away in Tavistock, Ontario, at age 95.  She led a full and faithful life, moving from London, Ontario, to Woodstock, where she raised her family, to eventually retire in Sauble Beach, with her beloved husband George.  They were proud co-founders of Sauble Christian Fellowship, which provided them with spiritual and community fulfilment. 

Shirley was predeceased by her husband George in 2007 and is survived by her children Gene (Jennifer), Daniel (Jo-Ann), Sandra, and Carol as well as a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She is also remembered by her sister Margaret. 

As per Shirley’s wishes, no public visitations or memorial services will be held.  Cremation has taken place and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.  Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence can be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
