Stephen Lounsbury

Peacefully with family by his side on February 11, 2024, Stephen Scott Lounsbury of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 66 years. 

Predeceased by the love of his life Margaret “Margie” (Balazs) (2019), his father Ross (2010), and his mother Marjorie (2007). Proud and loving father of Andrea Lounsbury of Medford, Oregon, USA. 

Survived by his brothers Kenton (Autumn) Lounsbury, Greg (Stephanie) Lounsbury, brother-in-law Andy Balazs, his sisters-in-law Martha Locker (Dave), Irene Balazs, and Barb Hunter, and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was a “jack of all trades” and even though his specialty was HVAC he could fix almost anything including vehicles, plumbing, electrical and small engines, which earned him the nick name of “MacGyver.”

The family would like to thank his two life-long friends Tom and Rob for standing by his side through thick and thin.  Also, his favourite cousin Linda who was always there for him.  

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 16, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Jack's Snooker Club, 9 Brock Street East, Tillsonburg, Ontario.  Memorial donations to CMHA or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated.
