Steven Brock

         Steven Allan Brock, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away Wednesday April 1st, 2026, lulled by the blues at the age of 69.

          Born in Sarnia, Ontario. Steve found passion in baking and became an apprentice baker at William's Pastry.  He became a provincially certified baker and pastry chef and was able to use these skills in various baking positions.  He retired as a baker from Zehrs in Woodstock.

          Throughout his battle with cancer, Steve's love and appreciation for music remained impenetrable.  Steve was primarily a guitarist, but began to learn both keyboard and violin during his retirement.  Steve was a lifelong learner who was particularly interested in history, culture, film, and music.  He loved discovering and sharing "hidden gem" films, songs, books, etc. He was always ready with a recommendation, something that will be greatly missed.  Steve will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those who got to know him.  May your soul find peace, and your spirit rise with grace.

          The family would like to thank both the at home care team and the palliative care team at Woodstock Hospital. Your understanding, kindness, and patience allowed us further invaluable quality time together.

          In keeping with Steve's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour his memory are invited to make a donation to musicbox children's charity , a charity whose mission Steve believed in strongly.
