Sue Weimann

November 22, 1949 — December 10, 2025

Woodstock, Ontario

After a difficult battle with many different cancers over the last 18 months, Mrs. Sue Anne Weimann (nee Boyse) passed away peacefully at Sakura House on Wednesday December 10, 2025, while in the presence of many loved ones.

Born in London, Ontario, on November 22, 1949, to Charles and Bertha (Billie) Boyse, Sue could best be described as a bundle of raw, unfiltered happiness and sass.  Sue was passionate about trying to make the most of any situation, right up to her last days Sue was always trying to find something to laugh, smile about.   Sue was a kind, caring and giving soul who always put the needs of others before her own.  She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life, and there were many, with courage and dignity.  Sue was a source of inspiration to all who knew her and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Sue was predeceased by her parents, and her eldest sister Nancy Leaman.  She leaves behind her one and only son James Stacey Nairn (Linda Williams), and her granddaughter Savanah Alexandra Ann Nairn (Nick Shokoff).  Sue is also survived by many of her loving, devoted siblings, Karen Cooper, Brian, Mary (George Williams), Pam, and Craig Boyse.  And of course, the rest of the Boyse clan.  Sue had many friends over the years, too many to include here unfortunately, but her family would like to especially acknowledge Mary Leach, Rita and her neighbours at 59 Perry Street, Joe and MC Flemming, and Marge Timmers.

Her family would like to extend their sincerest, heart felt gratitude for the over worked, under paid medical professionals who cared for her over the last year and a half.  Not the least of which is Dr. Regis (her eyes always lit up when she thought about you, your visits), the Staff at Sakura House, those working at the palliative care unit, and of course the amazing doctors and nurses in the chemotherapy clinic in Woodstock Hospital, and London’s University and Victoria Hospitals – all of you are simply amazing at what you do!

Sue did not want to have a funeral or visitation services, rather she requested to have a celebration of life sometime in the spring of 2026.   Please keep in touch with Sue’s family and friends, to learn more about this when the time comes.
