Thomas Sloan

Tom Sloan, in his 88^th year, died peacefully on December 28, 2023.  He was born in Liverpool on August 27, 1936, to loving parents Thomas and Winnifred Sloan.

Affectionately remembered by the light of his life, Margaret (Stanfield) Sloan, his wife of 58 years.  His children David (Sahlee) Sloan and Vicki (Jay) Jones feel blessed to have had such a wonderful Father.  His grandchildren, Eoghan, Rhys (Lex), Sarah, and Alexis will remember the joyful time spent with him and the love he had for them.  Survived by his brother Pete Sloan and sister-in-law Barb Wachowiak, brother-in-law Bill and sister-in-law Susan Stanfield, and sister-in-law Audrey Stanfield.  Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Predeceased by his brother David and sister-in-law Ann Sloan, brother-in-law John Stanfield, and nephew Chris Stanfield.

We are all truly grateful to all the Caregivers, Nurses and PSWs who have supported us over the years of Tom’s illness. You are so incredibly appreciated. "Thank you".

Tom loved music, Everton F.C., and a good laugh.  You can honour him by singing along to the next Beatles song, cheering on Everton (even if it’s just for one goal), or enjoying some Scouse humour.
