Trevor William Waite

Trevor peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Monday June 10, 2024, in his 51st year, after a 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). 

Devoted husband to Amy Waite (nee Coulter) for the past 25 years.  Proud and supportive Father of Jaime, and Emily Waite.  Son of Wayne Waite (Vivian), and son-in-law of Gaye Coulter (Bill).  Brother of Alisha (Wes) Haegens, and Greg Bryant.  Brother-in-law of Lee Coulter (Nan), Jim (Vanessa) Sullivan, Megan Trbulin, and Jenny Waite.  Fun Uncle to Emily, Denika, Joshua, Maddy, Logan, Rhea, Owen, Gavin, Sadie, Vincent, Nina, Rosa, James, Jacob, as well as his friends’ children.  Trevor was predeceased by his Mother Wendy Mills (nee Shelton) and his brother Shawn “Bubba” Waite. 

Trevor fought a courageous battle against MS for the past two decades. In spite of the disease progression taking away so many things Trevor’s intelligence, strength, sense of humour and love of learning still remained.  Because of Trevor’s love of entomology, he was the go-to guy for any questions and was affectionately called “the bug guy” by family and friends.  He also enjoyed playing cards and loved nature and science. 

In keeping with Trevor’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, Trevor requested that memorial donations be made to your local Food Bank.
