Valerie Elenchuk

          With heavy hearts we share that our Mom, Valerie Kirk Elenchuk (nee Ridley), passed away April 2, 2026 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. 

          Born in South Shields, England on September 16 1942, she immigrated to Canada in June 1952 with her parents John Robert ‘Jack’ and Lily Ridley, both have predeceased Valerie.  She was predeceased by her husband William Karol Elenchuk with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage.  Valerie is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son in law Clarke Scully, her son Andrew Elenchuk, and her grandchildren Noah and Katharine of whom she cherished and was very proud of.

          In leu of flowers, memorial donations made to any Humane Society or to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario are appreciated.   Wareing Cremation Services, 225 Norwich Avenue, Woodstock, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at www.wareingcremation.ca
