Verna Harris (Hutson)

Beloved sister, aunt, daughter, wife, momma, and Ma passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Secord Trails Care Community in Ingersoll, Ontario on Sunday December 17, 2023.

Predeceased by her loving husband Garry (2015) and son-in-law Mark (2012), parents Rita and George, and brother Dennis. Lovingly remembered by her children Tammy (Kevin), Garry (Jenn), and her true loves Allen (Sophia), Ryan (Emma), and Nathan. Also remembered by her sisters and brothers, other family and friends.

Many thanks to all of the Staff at Secord Trails Care Community.  Verna appreciated you all in true Verna fashion.  We can’t thank you enough for the care you gave Verna in her last four years, and her last hours.  We don’t know how you do it, but it’s worth it!

An Open House Celebration in honour of Verna’s life will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024, from 1 to 5 p.m., at 14 Chamberlain Ave., Ingersoll, Ontario.  Interment to be held in the Spring at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
