W. Roy Bondy

          Roy Bondy, age 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 4, 2026.  Born in Windsor, Ontario, Roy later made his home in Woodstock, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and the simple joys he loved most.  He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Betty, as well as by his children and grandchildren, who knew him as a devoted dad and proud grandpa.

          Roy spent his career in sales, where his personable nature and easygoing spirit left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.   Outside of work, he found great enjoyment on the golf course, a place where he felt most at ease and happy.  He also loved taking spontaneous road trips to visit family and friends, always valuing time spent together and the connections he cherished.  He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family, and the many quiet moments and memories shared with those closest to him.

          In keeping with Roy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.  Those wishing to honour his memory are invited to make a donation to VON Sakura House in Woodstock, Ontario, in lieu of flowers.

          Roy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
