Wayne Colbran

          It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wayne Colbran announce his passing on Saturday July 19, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

          He is survived by his loving wife Joann (nee Blackmore), his children Paul (Christine), and Tina (Andrew).  Extremely proud Grampa to Kurtis (Erin), Nik, Alexa (Christian), Sierra (David), and Kelan (Madison).  Forever cherished friend Gayle.  Survived by his sisters Gayle, Glennis and Irene, brother Brian (Betty Ann), brother-in-law Mel, sisters-in-law Barb, Marlane (Gary) and Mary, brothers-in-law Roy (Marylyn), Budd (Kate), Lawrence (Carm), and many nieces and nephews.  Wayne will be greatly missed by life-long friends and traveling companions John and Cindy. Reunited with his parents Herbert and Doris, sisters Vicki and Ann, infant brother Karl, brothers - in - law Jim, Rick, Murry, Ed, and Bill, and his best friend Jim.

          The family would like to thank the Thoracic and Oncology teams at LHSC for their exceptional care.

          A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Woodstock Navy Club, 959 James St., Woodstock, Ontario.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory made to VON Sakura House or the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre are appreciated.
