William Brydges

          It is with great sadness, and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Brydges.  On August 23rd, 2025 Bill passed away at home surrounded by love with his family by his side.

          Loved so much by his wife Sanja, and his children Billy Jr., Ashley (Amie), Justin (Samantha), Ciara (Randy), and Abigail; his sister Nancy and his brothers Jamie Bragg and Steve Balazev.  Loved by all his nieces his nephews

          Bill will be remembered for his unconditional love and his unwavering devotion to family and friends; fiercely loyal and endlessly giving.  He had a deep love for music and concerts, whether it was the thrill of the live performances or sharing the passion of the music he loved with those he loved.  Music was where his spirit truly came alive.  Concerts weren’t just an event for him - they were experiences to treasure.

          Bill’s presence was marked by a beautiful, genuine smile, twinkling blue eyes, and the warmest hugs.  He had a handshake of gold, and his ability to make everyone feel like a lifelong friend.  He was as silly and sweet as he was as steadfast and strong.  Always ready with advice, always lending an ear without judgement, always putting others before himself.  Bill embodied kindness, laughter and love.  His memory will live on in all of the lives he touched, as a father, a husband, a true friend, and a forever source of joy.

          Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends are welcome to celebrate the life of Bill Brydges on Sunday September 7th , 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Unifor Hall, 126 Beale St, Woodstock, Ontario.  Please wear your favourite concert or band t-shirt.
