William Hughes

      It is with heavy hearts the family of William "Bill" Hughes announce his passing at his home in Tillsonburg on Friday September 27, 2024, at the age of 81.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Muriel Diane (Tate) Hughes.  Survived by his much - loved partner Lillian Cranston.  Loving Father to Kelly (Vic), and Jeff.  Proud Papa to Michael (Adna) Hughes.  Big brother to Wendy (Ron) Gilbert, Janie (Dave) Calder, and Jim (Janet) Hughes. 

     Bill lived life!  He loved Whitby where he raised his family and was lucky to retire from Johnson Controls leaving him with 6 months in Florida and 6 months at his home in Tillsonburg.  Golfing, Spring training in Dunedin, and getting together with his Florida family for car port happy hours was what he loved most.  He will be greatly missed.

 In keeping with Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place.  Wareing Cremation Services, 346 Simcoe St., Tillsonburg, Ontario has been entrusted with Final Arrangements.  Your messages of remembrance and condolence may be shared here at wareingcremation.ca
