          For many years, Yvonne’s life was committed to helping others as a dedicated nurse with the Victorian Order of Nurses in Toronto, taking that spirit with her each day on the subway to visit and care for home bound patients.  Years later, she retired from her nursing career as a prominent Supervisor with the VON having touched many lives.

          Her retirement eventually settled her closer to her family at Goderich Place Retirement Centre in Goderich, Ontario where she enjoyed over ten years of well deserved relaxation and many friendships made.

          Her gentle and kind nature is what we all loved about her.  Always looking beyond herself and the importance of giving yourself unconditionally was her unmistakable quality.  She is loved and greatly missed from her family, Linda, Bill and Neil.
