Zorka Ilic  (nee Tubica)

 Born in Dvoriste, Croatia-Bosnia on April 21, 1939, Zorka returned home to Heaven on Monday November 30, 2020, passing away at Brantford General Hospital.

Darling wife of Nikola Ilic.  Loving Mother of Goran of Sarajevo, Bosnia; Jasna of Walsh, Ontario; Ivan of Aylmer; Branka of Hamilton; Branko (deceased) formerly of Vid, Croatia; Anka of Simcoe.  Grandmother of Sasa, Vlado, Nikola, Daniel, Valentina, Mara, Denan, Domagoj, Aiden, Jake, and Emir.  Mother in law of Demal, Rebecca, Cory, and Sadika.  Aunt of Mikan (Kathca) Karlica.

Zorka loved the Lord, and she had a passion for life.  She loved her Family, her grandkids.  She was always helping people; a generous soul with helping homeless people.  Zorka liked to spend time in nature, and loved swimming - most especially back home in the Adriatic Sea.  Always ready to travel to their town of Vid-Narona, where with her husband Nikola and family Ilic, she had Summers’ filled with joy, happiness, strength and health and both of them truly and honestly received such blessings spending time with loved ones.  She loved Croatian Picnics, music, dancing, gathering with family and friends at the Gage Park in Hamilton as she enjoyed watching her husband Nikola play bachi ball (Buce), and being with her friends visiting the casino.  Zorka will be missed by her family and friends here in Canada, Croatia, Bosnia, Hercegovina, Montenegro, and wherever the memory of her goes, the love will follow.  Remembered by the families Ilic, Tubica, Karlica, Dedukic, Begic, Plasaj, Jarnjevic, Roberts, Haq, Kahrimanovic, Maras, Radojevic, and by Dan Pearce of Simcoe.

Please Note:  The Celebration of Life that was planned for this Saturday December 12, 2020 at 2 p.m., at the Tabernacle of the Congregation, 62 St. James Street, Waterford, Ontario, has been CANCELLED because of the COVID-19 Church closure.  The family of the late Zorka Ilic would appreciate it if you could share this updated cancellation with friends and family.
